Curiouser and curiouser..

This outfit and post was inspired by Alice in Wonderland. However, my outfit is a more of a modernized, sexy Alice. I love this little crop top I got from Topshop after Christmas. All I can seem to wear at the minute is cute crop tops with a skater skirt.

But it looks so flattering! Although you need to be confident that you're going to have a few inches of stomach on show (and be wary that the skirt may slip down and reveal more than intended).

Enjoy (:

Bag Obsession..

I love my new(ish) bag from accessorize!! In fact I just love bags from accessorize in general. For Christmas I got a red bag from there which you may have seen in a previous post. The great thing is they do loads of really big bags, which is great for me as I am on the go a lot and need my laptop like 24/7!!! Although they are costly; I got this bag for £35.90, which would have been £39 if I didn't have student discount. However, I think if you're going to get a bag like this it is worth is because you're going to use it religiously. I have two friends who have got the same bag (in different colours) so that shows how much of a good investment it is. I chose the khaki colour because it is one of my favourite shades on sale at the moment (and it goes so well with all the burgundy items I have been purchasing recently).

"I feel infinite"

The Perks of Being a Wallflower was my favourite film of 2012. It spoke to me on a very personal level. There's this moment in the film where three of the characters are driving through the city listening to David Bowie. There have been many moments like that in my life that, even though they are only simple, made me 'feel infinite'.

The film has also influenced my recent style changes. I was born in the early 90's so the styles in the film reminded me of my childhood and dressing up in my mums clothes. I especially loved Emma Watsons tartan skirt which she wore in the scene above. So, the other day I was in Topshop and I saw a tartan skirt and was considering buying it, when I remembered that I got one from Zara years ago that I've hardly worn; it's true what they say about trends reappearing every few years!

New Year: New Beginnings

I know everyone says it every year but 2013 really does mark a new beginning in my life. My life has changed so much recently, as have I and I am hoping that the new year will bring me exciting and wonderful experiences (as well as lots of clothes shopping hehe!)

I am sorry for not updating for so long, just my personal life has been a bit crazy recently! But I have lots of new ideas and fashion photos to share! My fashion taste has morphed a lot in the last few months which is a lot of fun. Since seeing the Perks of Being a Wallflower my fashion taste has taken a slightly 'late 80s grunge' direction. The outfit I am wearing in these photos is one of my more girlier attempts.

I just want to say a thank you to my family and friends who have helped me keep this blog running for almost two years now! Although it is only a small hobby I could never have done it without the assistance and skill of the person behind the camera (:
