The nicest thing for me is sleep, then at least I can dream.

Well I have had a very busy weekend; on friday it was my Grans birthday and yesterday I went to another family party. I felt a little underdressed for my Grans birthday as I didn't realise how classy the venue was. Horsley Lodge is also a golf course, with a Michelin starred restaurant. The food was lovely, and I was very impressed with the overflowing supply of wine (hah). Since I managed to fit another photo session in this weekend there has been hardly any time for some much needed revision, so I'm going to have to cram today! I love my vintage orange jacket -its probably the brightest thing in my wardrobe- but I haven't many things I can wear it with. Any ideas?

Time to get the brolly out again.

My A-level exams are coming soon, arrhhh!! Its a very stressful time, however, yesterday the weight on my shoulders was slightly reduced as I finished the last 5 hours of my 15 hour art exam. I didn't exactly get my painting finished, but most people were impressed with my work (: This constant stress has meant my blog has taken a back seat, and with the poor weather in England there hasn't been many opportunities to take some gorgeous photos. Today it was a bit dreary, but my adorable friend Lauren had to get some last minute photos in for her photography project.

I've been dressing in quite soft, comfortable clothes at the moment. I'm loving neutrals and pale pinks, and after watching the first episode of Made in Chelsea I have regained my love for (faux) fur as the girls looked so stunning in it.

New hair; what do you think?

Yeah, They Were All Yellow.

Right, so bright yellow is a hard colour to pull off, not saying that I have done it successfully. However, I think everyone knows when and where a yellow piece of clothing is appropriate, and what to pair it with. There is noooo way you can wear bright yellow to your Gran's 81st birthday party (perhaps baby yellow), which is coming up soon (outfit ideas please!). Furthermore, you cannot, cannot wear yellow and orange together. You'll look like you going to a fancy dress!! A rocket scientist doesn't have to work that out. I would recommend wearing yellow with something quite plain, but completely reflects your personal style. Those of you who have grown to know this blog will know that my option would be a floaty, chiffon blouse, maybe with some florals. Since yellow seems to represent spring, I wouldn't advise wearing black with it (unless you want to look like a bumblebee). Keep the look fresh; choose soft pinks, creams, faded patterns, pale greens, baby blues. Any more ideas to add lovelies?

Photography.

Today has been very, very windy! I am not looking forward to going back to sixth form on Wednesday; I have sooo many pieces of coursework to hand in which are still not finished!!
My friend Lauren is doing a photography project and asked my to do some pictures for her (aren't I lucky!). Her aim was to capture the bluebells with myself in the background, out of focus. However, because of the wind, this proved difficult. I'm going to share some of my favourites though (:

Dress: Topshop, shoes: vintage (though you can't really see them), sun umbrella: River Island.

Thank you Lauren very much for taking these photos (:
