I searched through their hearts and no treasure I found..

Hello all! Well my first year at uni is drawing to a close; I swear I just blinked and the year flew right by!! I have just two weeks of school placement and then it's the summer (if the English weather agrees).

I'm feeling quite nervous about these two weeks in school because I'm teaching the whole class independently for the majority of the week. I'm not actually required to do that much teaching but my mentor has decided to throw me in the deep end, so to speak.

Anyway, I'm quite excited for the summer! I had a job interview last week and I've been offered the position! I'm now waiting for my written references to go through so I'm hoping the job will be secured then! The best thing is having a job means I will not have to spend the summer scrounging off my parents and I might actually get to do some traveling! I'm thinking I might have a few weekends away, hopefully one of them will be to London so I can hit Oxford Street! I'm also going to Ibiza at the end of August, which will be lovely and I will hopefully be able to get a tan.

I also hope I will be able to do loads of blogging over the summer. Since I will have a few more pennies I will be able to add more clothing to my collection. However, my wardrobe and drawers are overflowing so I'm thinking I may have to cut down a little! I'm so terrible for hoarding! I was having this conversation with my friends the other day about whether we hoard clothes or clear out our wardrobe frequently; I hoard all the way haha!

These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago, but I've been finishing my last uni assignments so I haven't had time to post them. I really love this faux fur shrug I have as it looks so cute, but can also give an outfit a bit of edge. I especially like how well it goes will knitted items!

My uni friends have introduced me to something called 'hauls' recently. Basically it's where people go shopping and review the clothes/products they have bought. It sounds ridiculous, and I thought it was at first but they go so addictive. It's just great hearing about stuff and it's really useful because they may review something you've seen in the shops, and help you determine whether to buy it or not. I particularly like a vlogger called Becca as she's so bubbly and has great taste (see the video above). Check her out on YouTube!
